Job summary

Murata Singapore is seeking a talented IT/Manufacturing DX Analyst to join the Factory Business Engineering team in Yishun. Based in Singapore, you will gain practical exposure to advanced manufacturing IT, AI/ML applications and digital transformation projects, contributing to the Digital Thread Transformation (DTX) initiative.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in DTX Project PoC implementation at Murata Singapore.
• Support preparation and expansion of DTX solutions to MTL and PMM.
• Learn on-site factory operations and apply manufacturing knowledge when evaluating digital solutions.
• Study and explore AI/ML applications together with SP51433.
• Participate in DX activities by reviewing improvement proposals and identifying suitable digital solutions.
• Apply IT tools, automation, and data solutions to improve business and manufacturing processes.
• Support project coordination across cross-functional and cross-site teams.

Department: Factory Business Engineering

Reports to: IT Manager

Functional Relationships with: Work closely with Manufacturing teams to identify improvement opportunities and develop DX solutions to improve business and manufacturing processes. Support project management activities for the Digital Thread Transformation (DTX) Project in collaboration with C296.

Position Profile:

Successful candidate will join the Factory Business Engineering team and gain practical exposure to advanced manufacturing IT, AI/ML applications, and digital transformation projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in DTX Project PoC implementation at Murata Singapore.

• Support preparation and future expansion of DTX solutions to MTL and PMM.

• Learn on-site factory operations and apply manufacturing knowledge when evaluating digital solutions.

• Study and explore AI/ML applications together with SP51433.

• Participate in DX activities by reviewing improvement proposals and identifying suitable digital solutions.

Ability / Competency Required

• Bachelor’s Degree/master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information System Engineering or a related IT/engineering field.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing IT or a related field.

• Strong interest in programming, AI/ML, and emerging digital technologies.

• Willingness to learn manufacturing operations and understand shop-floor requirements.

• Dedicated team player with strong commitment and sense of responsibility.

• Proactive attitude with good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work collaboratively with different stakeholders and functions.
