Job summary

MOLEX SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a MES-focused Business Analyst to bridge manufacturing operations and digital technology.

You will analyze business needs, support MES design and implementation, and drive improvements across the manufacturing value stream. The role requires collaboration with multiple departments and a data-driven mindset. You will work with cross-functional teams to model processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose practical optimization solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of business analysis experience in manufacturing, MES familiarity.
• Proficient with Visio, Jira and Confluence.
• Strong cross-functional communication and data-driven decision-making.
• Basic project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with manufacturing, lifecycle management and other teams to identify and define business requirements.
• Conduct on-site investigations of production processes to identify pain points and bottlenecks.
• Consolidate requirements and create clear documentation and optimization recommendations.
• Develop and maintain business process models for manufacturing processes.
• Propose MES optimization solutions leveraging lean and digital best practices.
• Bridge between business and technical teams to promote adoption of digital tools.
• Use MES-generated data to monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support continuous improvement and lean/digital transformation goals.
• Ensure digital solutions comply with quality systems and regulations.
