Job summary

ADVANCED SUBSTRATE TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced MES Engineer to design, implement and optimize MES solutions in a high-volume electronics setting. You will support Singapore manufacturing operations and collaborate with Toppan DI for long-term platform improvements.

The role includes remote MES support to global factories, overseeing deployments, upgrades, and data integration with ERP/SCADA systems. Strong Python skills with Java/C# knowledge are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Proven MES development, deployment and optimization experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of MES modules, Oracle databases, and system integration architectures.
• Experience with Industry 4.0 / smart manufacturing concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement MES solutions for high-volume production.
• Optimize production processes, workflows and KPIs across sites.
• Provide remote MES support from Singapore to global factories.
• Lead MES projects with scope definition, scheduling and execution.
• Integrate MES with ERP, SCADA and automation systems.
• Develop reports and dashboards for production performance.
• Maintain data integrity and cybersecurity standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and IT teams.
