Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a junior Business Analyst/analyst trainee to assist in gathering requirements from users and stakeholders for manufacturing systems.

You will support senior analysts, prepare basic documentation, and participate in requirement discussions and project meetings. You will help with MES integration projects, system testing, UAT, and deployment activities, coordinating with developers, engineers, vendors, and business users while learning existing manufacturing

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome; internships or academic projects are a plus.
• Basic understanding of business analysis, software development, system implementation, or application support preferred.
• Interest in manufacturing systems, equipment automation, system integration, or enterprise applications.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems advantageous.
• Basic programming knowledge, particularly in C#, an asset but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to work with both technical and non-technical team members.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and system requirements from users and stakeholders.
• Support senior Business Analysts and project teams in understanding business processes and user needs.
• Prepare and maintain basic project documentation such as requirement documents, process flows, meeting notes, test scenarios, and user guides.
• Participate in requirement discussions, workshops, and project meetings.
• Support manufacturing system projects involving equipment integration, automation, MES, and related applications.
• Assist in coordinating between business users, developers, engineers, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Support system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment activities.
• Assist in recording, tracking, and following up on system issues and user feedback.
• Help verify that system changes and enhancements meet documented business requirements.
• Support documentation of manufacturing processes, system interfaces, and application workflows.
• Learn and understand existing manufacturing systems and processes to support future enhancement and automation initiatives.
