Nexbridge Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking an automation professional to design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes. You will work with injection moulding machines, assembly lines, vision systems, and testing equipment to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in industrial automation in medical device or precision plastics environments.
• Experience with injection moulding machines, robot take-out, insert loading, post-moulding processes.
• Proven ability to automate assembly machines (part feeding, pick-and-place, screw fastening, testing).
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills; able to support production independently.
• Proficient with MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Integrate automation with injection moulding, assembly machines, conveyors, vision systems, and testing equipment.
• Support automation for injection moulding, including robot take-out, insert loading, and degating.
• Develop and optimize automation for assembly machines (feeding, pick-and-place, fasteners, testing).
• Collaborate with Process Engineers to reduce cycle time, manpower, and rejects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, robots, and motion control systems.
• Ensure reliable communication between machines using industrial protocols.
• Diagnose faults, minimize downtime, and provide on-site technical support during production.
• Maintain automation documentation and support IQ/OQ/PQ activities where applicable.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams for installation, debugging, and upgrades.
