Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking a Software Tester to prepare test cases and artefacts guided by functional specs or user stories. The role involves creating a requirements traceability matrix and test data using SQL, then executing both manual and automated tests.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of software testing experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. You will coordinate with BAs and developers and support business users in UAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field.
• 1 year of software testing experience.
• Experience with test management and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare test cases and artefacts guided by specs or user stories.
• Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix.
• Prepare test data using SQL.
• Execute manual and automated tests.
• Analyse results to identify bugs and propose solutions.
• Document and produce daily test reports.
• Coordinate with BAs and developers.
• Assist business users in User Acceptance Testing.

Job description

• Prepare test cases/test artefacts taking guidance from the functional specifications or user story
• Prepare Requirement Tracability Matrix
• Prepare test data using tools such as SQL scripts
• Execute both manual and automaed test scripts
• Analyse test results to predict user behaviour, identify bugs and suggest solutions to minimise problems
• Document and produce daily test report
• Coordinate and liaise with Business Analysts and Developers
• Assist business users in performing User Acceptance Test

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 1 years of experience in software testing
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc) and automation tools (e.g., Tosca, Selenium, etc).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
