Job summary

Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF)—Sector Strategy and Development (SSD) oversees sector-wide policies and programmes to ensure sustainable services and a future-ready workforce. The Manpower Policy and Planning (MPP) division identifies sector-wide manpower challenges using analysis of manpower trends to inform policies and schemes.

The role emphasizes analyzing data, developing policy strategies, and collaborating with public sector partners to ensure sufficiency of pre-employment

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis, systems-thinking, and policy development skills.
• Experience in managing projections methodology, handling datasets and building dashboards would be preferred.
• Good understanding of Singapore's social service sector landscape would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the manpower demand-supply projections model for key professions, reviewing parameters and assumptions.
• Process and transform datasets through cleaning, fusion and structuring for projections or dashboards for senior management.
• Conceptualise and develop strategies to meet sector manpower needs and optimise manpower models.
