Job summary

Migrantlink Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced educator to support and deliver lower secondary computer education and makerspace activities. You will manage multimedia, the school website, and ICT training, while coordinating student participation in competitions.

You will teach Python and Swift, run robotics with Micro:Bit/LEGO, and integrate AI tools to boost digital literacy. You will also create learning resources and maintain equipment for smooth classroom delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience conducting computer education programs, ICT training/workshops, and multimedia services in a school environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote) applied to teaching and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with coding languages Python and Swift/Swift Playgrounds for instructional purposes.
  • Experience using robotics and programmable devices (M5GO, LEGO, Micro:Bit) to teach computational thinking.
  • Knowledge of school learning platforms such as Teams and Class Notebook.
  • Competence in AI tools including Copilot, ChatGPT, and NotebookLM to support innovative teaching methods.
  • Expertise in multimedia editing and creation tools such as Canva, CapCut, iMovie, GarageBand, Procreate, and Adobe applications.
  • Experience managing website content using Isomer or similar CMS platforms.
  • Ability to facilitate makerspace activities involving Cricut craft/design and 3D printing.
  • Strong classroom pedagogy, student management, and engagement skills demonstrated through effective lesson delivery.
  • Initiative and independence in managing tasks combined with a collaborative team approach.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach makerspace activities including 3D printing and Cricut-based craft and design projects
  • Train Infocomm Club students in video production, graphic poster creation, and animation for multimedia competitions
  • Provide photography and videography services for school events and programs
  • Design marketing collaterals and create digital teaching resources to support school initiatives
  • Maintain photography and multimedia equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Provide general technical support for school ICT needs
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the school to support educational and operational goals

Other Information
Working Hours & Schedule
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (includes a 1-hour lunch break)
  • No service required on weekends and gazetted public holidays
