Job summary

Singapore Post Limited is seeking a Solution Manager to craft technically compelling bids for warehouse and fulfilment services. You will translate complex requirements into executable solutions, shaping workflows and SOPs that align with enterprise needs and client KPIs.

You will champion cost modeling and analytics, ensure playbook execution across a network of sites, and collaborate with Operations and Sales to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree in SCM, Logistics, or Operations Management.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in warehousing or logistics.
• Experience in eCommerce and FMCG; healthcare/retail valued.
• Hands-on with WMS, RFID/barcoding, and order processing data.
• Familiar with warehouse automation (AGV, AMR, ASRS) advantageous.
• Costing, analytics, and cost modeling experience.
• Data-driven decision making with performance reports.
• Ability to translate pain points into SOPs and workflows.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Own development of technical bids with operations and sales for warehouse and fulfilment services; gather complex requirements and define workflows.

• Execute the warehouse business playbook ensuring process compliance, capability deployment, and performance across sites.

Job Description

The Solution Manager is a technical specialist responsible for developing warehouse, fulfilment, and value-added services (VAS) proposals that bridge customer needs with SingPost's core capabilities. His/her mission is to develop new capabilities and translate complex enterprise requirements into high-quality, executable warehouse solutions that drive "wins," optimize storage and inventory management, and protect profitability through rigorous cost modeling.

• Own the development of technical bids in collaboration with the operations and sales team for warehouse and fulfilment services; this includes proactively gathering complex technical requirements, defining optimal operational workflows, and creating compelling, value-driven proposals that align client needs with SingPost's core capabilities to drive business growth
• Identify and develop capabilities for the warehouse business to broaden range of services to existing customers and to expand into new growth segments
• Responsible for the execution of the warehouse business playbook, ensuring consistent process compliance,, capability deployment, and operational performance across the organization's network of diverse warehouse sites and fulfilment centres
• Design and engineer end-to-end solutions for the warehouse and fulfilment workflows, ensuring that complex operational workflows meet customers' specific handling, security, and compliance requirements
• Monitor and manage daily fulfilment flows at a project level to ensure facility performance aligns with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client KPIs
• Perform regular audits of operational workflows to proactively identify capability gaps, technical bottlenecks, or inefficiencies; provide actionable recommendations to senior management for process hardening and service upskilling
• Maintain rigorous cost-control checks at the transaction level, performing detailed cost modeling and identifying variances in labor, material or vendor costs to ensure the operation remains within budget and maintains maximum profitability
• Analyze warehouse throughput data using operational analytics to suggest tactical shifts in inventory management, picking, or automation implementation processes that improve speed without increasing cost
• Liaise between Operations and the Customer, serving as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise clients regarding warehouse performance, solution design, and complex service recovery

Requriements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Operations Management
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Sector-wide Exposure: Experience in eCommerce and FMCG industries is required; Familiarity with healthcare, retail, or specialized goods is highly valued.
• Warehouse Technology and Innovation Knowledge: Hands-on proficiency with advanced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory tracking technologies (e.g., RFID, Barcoding), and order-processing capabilities; ability to leverage system data to optimize facility performance.
• Warehouse Automation: Experience in using warehouse automation (AGV, AMR, 4-way shuttle, ASRS) will be advantageous
• Operational Costing & Analytics: Experienced in cost modeling and unit economics; able to analyze operational spend, identify variances, and support the development of commercial business cases.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Capable in synthesising operational data into actionable performance reports and commercial impact analyses.
• Solutioning and Proposal: Ability to take complex customer "pain points" and translate them into functional workflow designs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that meet both industry standards and client KPIs.
• Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in identifying "on-the-ground" capability gaps and implementing tactical solutions to improve warehouse services
• Tactical Negotiation & Influence: Strong ability to manage and influence internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure seamless service delivery.
