Job summary

Arrow Electronics, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead our NIC Components/Arrow Cores operations. The role fixes shift Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:30pm and oversees receiving, storing, picking and shipping, aiming to meet performance targets and budgets.

You will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate with freight providers for SG deliveries, drive KPIs, and ensure compliance with SG import/export rules while supporting cost control and customer fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations with leadership responsibilities.
• Computer skills to be able to execute ERP / WMS system transactions are required.
• Good working attitude.

Responsibilities

Manager, Warehouse

Job Description:

Fixed Shift: Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 5.30pm)

This position will be based under our specialty group, NIC Components located at 5 Tai Seng Drive.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Responsible for the day-to-day functions of Logistics or Value Add department(s), ensuring goals are met or exceeded
• Supervise day to day operation of a single department (receiving, storing, picking, shipping, special handling) within the distribution/value add center consisting of non-exempt tactical personnel.
• To Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff of Arrow Cores & NIC Components Operation
• To liaise with company appointed freight/transportation service provide on SG local delivery arrangement
• To manage the warehouse staff performance in Employee Performance Rating
• To Communicate with Arrow Internal customer; Sales/CSR on order fulfillment arrangement and provide solution to meet Arrow’s Customer expectation
• To assist Senior Manager to manage and control the operating cost to meet the annual budget target
• To design and implement the performance KPI of the warehouse staff
• Understand the SG import & export rules/regulation in order to assist the internal & external customer requirement
• Understand the LC/Sight Draft term of shipment and its bank documentation submission process
• Understand the Strategies Control Parts requirement under the SG custom requirement
• Other duties as assigned.
