Job summary

The Animal Lodge (TAL), a facility under the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), seeks an operations coordinator to support tenancy, projects and estate management. You will help set up engagement sessions, handle general admin, procurement of services and manage feedback from tenants and the public.

You will coordinate with animal groups, contractors and tenants, work closely with AVS colleagues to ensure smooth TAL operations, and take on ad-hoc assignments as needed.

• Experience in volunteer coordination, outreach, community engagement and partnerships.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support tenancy, projects and estate management work.
• Assist with engagement sessions, admin, Secretarial work and procurement of services.
• Engage tenants and the public on TAL-related matters; manage feedback.
• Coordinate with stakeholders (animal groups, contractors, tenants) to ensure smooth TAL operations.

[What the role is]

The Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of NParks, safeguards the health and welfare of animals through comprehensive and integrated programmes and works closely with partners in the veterinary and animal-related industries to strengthen capacities and enhance competencies in animal health and welfare. It is the main touchpoint on animal and veterinary matters in Singapore and the First Responder for all animal-related feedback. It also conducts public education and engagement programmes to foster a humane and gracious society for all, where pet owners, communities, and animals co-exist in greater harmony within our biophilic City in Nature.

You will be part of the team to manage operations and engagement efforts at The Animal Lodge (TAL). As part of your daily work, you will be assisting with the following:

• Support tenancy, projects and estate management work
• Support operational work including setting up engagement sessions, performing general administration, such, secretarial support, process reviews, procurement of services, engage tenants and public on TAL-related matters, manage feedback
• Coordinate with stakeholders such as animal groups (AGs), contractors, tenants, and work cohesively within AVS to ensure smooth operations at TAL
• Perform other assignments or projects as required
