The Group Internal Audit provides internal audit services to Singapore's public healthcare clusters and helps improve their governance, controls and risk management. We also support the Ministry of Health in the roll-out of national schemes through compliance audits of eligibility assessment, subsidy rates and confidentiality of personal data.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
The Senior Manager/ Manager is expected to perform the full suite of audit activities relating to claims made under the MediSave/ MediShield Life guidelines. This includes clinical audits, financial audits, supporting the clinical auditors, as well as administrative assignments related to the audits.
The Senior Manager/ Manager will be the point of contact between MOH, Auditors (including audit queries), the auditees and other related entities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, monitor and report audit completion for each cycle
- Call for/ perform data extraction if needed
- Select audit samples and notify clinics through Letter of Notification if needed
- Monitor information/ document submission
- Liaise with clinics on information submission and check for completeness, accuracy, timeliness and that information/ documents are generally in order
- Perform clinical and financial audits where needed
- Conduct onsite visits where necessary
- Perform preliminary assessments before coordinating audit reviews with Clinical Auditors for complex cases
- Responsible for ensuring audits are conducted in line with applicable guidelines, methodologies, documentation standards and data confidentiality requirements
- Prepare and manage audit working papers
- Follow-up on queries from MOH, Clinical Auditors and auditees
- Prepare Letter of Findings to send to auditees
- Manage appeals from auditees, including coordinating the reviews and responses, and tracking for closure.
- Tabulate audit results and draft audit reports for Supervisor's review
- Manage MediSave Audit Hotline and Email Account (if needed)
- Liaise and work with counterparts in MOH, AIC, clinics, auditors and other agencies where relevant
- Complete the necessary steps in Audit Management System prior to approval/ review/ closure by Supervisor
- Supervise, guide and review the work of assigned Executive, including coaching, workload prioritisation, quality review and performance monitoring
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement(s):
- At least a Degree in Nursing/Health Science or equivalent qualification
- Possess a valid practicing license with the Singapore Nursing Board
Key Qualities:
- Experience in operating theatre settings or a medical specialisation would be considered favourably
- Good interpersonal and written/ spoken communication skills
- Good team player who can work independently
- Meticulous and resilient
- Proficient in Microsoft Office apps, as well as Microsoft Co-pilot
- Self-disciplined and takes pride in quality deliverables
- Good time management
- Data analysis experience would be an advantage
Years of Experience Required:
- At least 4 years of nursing experience, or financial and operational audit experience
- Experience in healthcare industry and/ or investigations would be an advantage.
