Job summary

The Singapore Institute of Technology is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager, Estates to lead the development and management of SIT's campus facilities. You will oversee building services, work with stakeholders, and ensure projects meet scope, budget and timelines.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will coordinate design, tendering, construction, and handover activities, while ensuring compliance with local regulations and quality standards across SIT campuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of design consultancy and PM experience.
• Familiarity with Singapore building development processes and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and CAD software.
• Experience with building services systems is an advantage.
• Strong PM, stakeholder, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders and consultants on design specifications, space planning, project schedules, and budgets
• Develop project briefs, manage workplace enhancement initiatives, and ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget and timeline
• Manage the tender process, including tender evaluation and contract awards
• Monitor construction and fit-out works to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with statutory regulations
• Conduct regular quality inspections, manage defect rectification, and oversee project handover
• Manage execution of direct contracts
• Coordinate and support stakeholders during move into completed premises
• Prepare progress updates and manage project risks to ensure successful project delivery

The Manager / Senior Manager reports to the Project Director and is responsible for planning, implementing and managing the development and management of building services for SIT's campuses, buildings and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
