The role provides hands-on execution and business-readiness coordination for HSO's ERP transformation project. The role converts the program direction and priorities established by the Director, Project & Transformation Lead into detailed plans, coordinated actions and reliable evidence across testing, data, training, local deployment, cutover and hypercare, while maintaining clear visibility of risks, issues and dependencies.
Working directly with business and workstream leads, the role maintains a disciplined execution cadence, clarifies ownership, connects interdependent activities and drives actions to closure. It provides accurate, decision-ready information and timely escalation of material readiness risks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Readiness Planning and Control
- Own and maintain the detailed, integrated business-readiness plan, connecting milestones, dependencies, resources, actions and decision points across process, data, testing, training, local deployment, cutover and stabilization activities.
- Run the day-to-day execution across workstreams, ensuring progress is current, ownership is clear, overdue actions are addressed and recovery plans are followed.
- Maintain an integrated view of business risks, assumptions, issues, decisions and dependencies, with clear impact, ownership, mitigation, timelines and escalation status.
- Identify readiness gaps and cross-workstream constraints early, drive resolution with accountable owners and elevate risks or trade-offs with facts and options.
Testing, Data and Operational Readiness
- Orchestrate business participation in key-user and user-acceptance testing by coordinating scope, resources, schedules, evidence, defects, validation and sign-off readiness.
- Coordinate business data readiness with accountable data owners, ensuring each critical data object has clear ownership, quality status, open issues and a defined sign-off route.
- Integrate training completion and effectiveness, process and SOP readiness, access, controls, communications and local deployment actions, ensuring gaps have accountable owners and recovery dates.
- Ensure readiness evidence is complete, traceable and quality-checked to support governance gates, business sign-offs and the final go-live recommendation.
Cutover, Deployment and Stabilization
- Coordinate the business cutover plan and runbook, confirming activities, sequencing, staffing, ownership, dependencies, rehearsals, contingency actions and escalation routes.
- Coordinate hands-on business-side deployment and readiness activities across functions and locations, working with local teams and workstream leads to close gaps before go-live.
- Run business stabilization and hypercare tracking, ensuring issues are prioritized, assigned and resolved, operational validation is completed, and agreed exit criteria are evidenced before transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Capture lessons learned and incorporate practical improvements into subsequent deployment waves or readiness cycles.
Governance, Reporting and Stakeholder Alignment
- Produce timely, fact-based readiness dashboards and decision materials for program governance, providing a reconciled view of progress, risks, dependencies, evidence gaps and required decisions.
- Coordinate inputs from business and project workstreams, ensuring information is current, consistent, traceable and appropriate for governance review.
- Build alignment across Business Process Owners, workstream leads, Key Business Users, local teams, Global IT, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain and vendors by clarifying deliverables, ownership and decision requirements.
- Challenge execution confidence and evidence quality constructively, escalating unresolved readiness risks and recovery needs with clear facts and implications.
