Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is looking for a capable manager to lead the Division and ACP support functions and supervise executives to drive strategic initiatives across research, clinical service innovation, and philanthropy campaigns.

You will oversee project milestones, coordinate meetings, ensure compliance with philanthropy guidelines, and provide secretariat support to task forces and workgroups as they advance their initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• At least 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Relevant project management skills.
• Healthcare-related experience would be advantageous.
• Ability to organise and coordinate academic events (courses, meetings, etc).

Job description

As a manager, your job responsbilities include the following:

• Support the supervisor in the various functions of the division and ACP to ensure that the division and ACP are running smoothly and on track to achieve its goals.

• Provide administrative support to the Division and ACP leadership, to help bring their plans and initiatives to fruition.

• Provide day-to-day supervision, teach and guide the Research and Clinical Service Innovation executives to enable smooth delivery of work and successful execution of projects/initiatives in their respective domains (as follows)

  a) Research: Grant administration, events, database management and etc

  b) Clinical Service Innovation: taskforces, workgroups, AI/QI/transformation initiatives and etc

• Provide day-to-day supervision, teach and guide the executives in conceptualising, planning and executing philanthropy/fundraising campaigns and events.

• Oversee the philanthropy administration to ensure proper tracking of donations/expenditure, and compliance to philanthropy guidelines and policies.

• Support and facilitate key Division or ACP projects/initiatives by working closely with the project leads and committees.

• Track project milestones, troubleshoot bottlenecks and liaise closely with stakeholders (e.g. ensure interests of all institutions are well-represented for cluster-level projects) to enable successful implementation of projects.

• Provide secretariat support to key taskforces/workgroups to coordinate meetings, take minutes and follow up on matters arising promptly.

• Managing a team of Executives and ensuring that the team is able to support the Division and RADSC ACP initiatives

• Manage leave requests and funding of Clinical Research Coordinators and Research Associates, and facilitate their appraisal process

• Take on any other assignments that the Division or ACP may have

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role

• Relevant project management skills

• Relevant healthcare-related experience would be advantageous

• Ability to organise and co-ordinate academic events (eg courses, research/education meetings etc)
