Job summary

L&K Engineering (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. Singapore Branch is seeking a senior QA/QC Leader to oversee daily on-site inspections for CSA works in semiconductor plant construction.

You will drive adherence to approved drawings, ITPs, NCRs and project quality standards while coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years QAQC experience, including 5+ years in semiconductor fabrication plant projects.
• Hands-on CSA site inspection experience and resolving quality issues.
• Willing to perform daily site inspections and manage quality issues on-site.
• Strong CSA construction knowledge, cleanroom requirements and QA standards.
• Fluent English and Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct daily on-site CSA quality inspections for semiconductor projects.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, project specs, quality standards and client requirements.
• Identify workmanship defects and ensure timely rectification on-site.
• Inspect activities per ITP, method statements and project quality requirements.
• Lead and participate in joint inspections with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Supervise QAQC engineers and inspectors during daily site inspections.
• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs and verify corrective actions.
• Conduct materials inspections, witness testing, and verify completed works quality.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve site quality issues and prevent recurrence.
• Review inspection reports, quality records, checklists and QA/QC documentation.
• Conduct final site inspections, punch list clearance and project handover.

Job description

• Location: Woodland
• Working Hours: 5.5 days per week (Mon to Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Sat: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM)
• Willing to commit to extended hours and shift work during peak periods

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and personally conduct daily on-site quality inspections for Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) works in semiconductor fabrication plant construction projects
• Perform hands-on quality inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards and client requirements
• Inspect ongoing construction activities, identify workmanship defects and ensure timely rectification on-site
• Conduct inspections in accordance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and project quality requirements
• Lead and participate in joint site inspections with clients, consultants, project teams and subcontractors
• Supervise QAQC engineers and inspectors while remaining actively involved in daily site inspection activities
• Identify non-conformance issues, issue NCRs and conduct follow-up inspections to verify corrective actions
• Conduct material inspections, witness testing activities and verify the quality of completed works
• Coordinate directly with construction teams and subcontractors to resolve site quality issues and prevent recurring defects
• Review inspection reports, quality records, checklists and relevant QAQC documentation
• Conduct final site inspections, manage punch list clearance and support project handover
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of relevant QAQC experience, including at least 5 years in semiconductor fabrication plant construction projects
• Proven hands-on experience in conducting CSA site inspections and resolving construction quality issues
• Must be willing and able to perform daily site inspections and directly manage quality issues on-site, rather than focusing solely on administrative or documentation duties
• Strong technical knowledge of CSA construction activities, cleanroom construction requirements and semiconductor project quality standards
• Familiar with construction drawings, ITP, Method Statements, NCR procedures and quality management systems
• Experience leading QAQC teams and coordinating inspections with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage quality control activities in a fast-paced semiconductor construction environment
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication, reading, and writing skills in both English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese associate
• Candidates with strong experience will be considered for a higher-level position, with salary adjusted accordingly
