Job summary

exyte Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Manager Project Cost Control to oversee cost, schedule, change management and risks across complex projects in Singapore.

You will work with Engineering, Project Management and the broader team to forecast impacts and provide clear visibility to senior management. You will lead and develop the Project Controls team across planning, cost controls and commercial management, liaising with clients to ensure timely reporting and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years on Singapore-based projects.
• Certification such as PMP, MRICS, CCP or related preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of cost engineering concepts and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of Earned Value and Schedule Management.
• Proven expertise in commercial and contract management, especially Open-Book Reimbursable Contracts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Independent and structured working style with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Act as Commercial & Contractual Lead for all contractual and commercial management.
• Advise on cost and schedule impacts from scope changes and contingencies.
• Lead forecasting to capture current expenses and schedule expectations across project areas.
• Present forecasts to senior management with variance explanations.
• Lead, manage and train the Project Controls team (Planning, Cost Controls, Commercial Management).
• Coordinate with the client's Project Controls team for timely reporting.
• Ensure effective internal and corporate communication and compliance of commercial aspects.

As Manager Project Cost Control, you will play a key role in the management and reporting of Cost, Schedule, Change Management and Risks across assigned projects.

You will work closely with Engineering, Project Management and the wider project team to identify potential cost and schedule impacts, lead the forecasting process, and provide clear visibility of project performance to senior management. You will also lead, manage and develop the Project Controls team across planning, cost controls and commercial management.

This is an opportunity to take a leading role in project controls while working closely with clients and internal stakeholders on complex project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the management and reporting of Cost, Schedule, Change Management and Risks of assigned projects.
• Act as Commercial & Contractual Lead for all contractual and commercial management of assigned projects.
• Advise Engineering and Project Management personnel of potential cost and schedule impacts arising from scope changes and contingencies.
• Lead the forecasting process to capture current expenses and schedule expectations across project areas and packages during all phases of the project.
• Present forecasts to senior management, including comparison against previous forecasts and clear explanations of variances.
• Lead, manage and train the Project Controls team, covering Planning, Cost Controls and Commercial Management.
• Liaise with the client's Project Controls team to ensure timely and accurate reporting and communication.
• Ensure effective internal departmental and corporate communication.
• Ensure compliance and follow-up of all commercial aspects within the project.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
