Job summary

BorgWarner seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Process Supervisor to lead process design and implementation for new and redesigned products. You will drive manufacturing improvements, establish work instructions, and ensure cost, speed, and quality targets across projects.

With 15+ years of experience, including 8+ years in supervisory roles, you will influence equipment selection, CAPEX planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative mobility solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Production or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 15+ years total experience with at least 8 years in Manufacturing Process supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Propose manufacturing processes and investments for business quotes.
• Design, develop and implement processes, equipment, jigs and fixtures for manufacturing of new or redesigned products.
• Support new product development with manufacturing expertise, especially in Overmold.
• Transfer new/redesign/VAVE programs to production.
• Plan project manufacturing process tasks.
• Develop and establish work instructions, routing, and workmanship standards.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Track and manage CAPEX spending within the allocated budget.
• Meet departmental goals on cost, responsiveness and quality objectives.
