Job summary

Halcyon Agri Corporation Limited is seeking a Group Financial Reporting professional to manage consolidation and related schedules for the Group and sub‑groups. You will liaise with subsidiaries’ finance teams to gather reporting packages and ensure timely submission for Group consolidation, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies.

You will coordinate external audits, prepare SGX announcements and annual reports, monitor accounting standards, drive process improvements, and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years in Group Financial Reporting, Consolidation or External Audit.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and familiarity with SGX/annual reports.
• Experience in manufacturing/commodities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and relevant sub-groups.
• Prepare supporting schedules for consolidation including intercompany eliminations.
• Liaise with subsidiaries’ finance teams to obtain reporting packages and ensure timely submissions.
• Ensure financial reporting complies with IFRS and internal policies.
• Support SGX announcements, interim statements, annual reports and other statutory reporting.
• Coordinate external audits and address audit queries to complete audits timely.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and advise on impact.
• Drive improvements in financial reporting processes and data quality.
• Support finance-related projects including system implementations.
• Prepare financial analysis, Board papers and management reports for senior management.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and projects as required.

Job description

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group and relevant sub-groups.
• Prepare supporting schedules for consolidation, including intercompany eliminations, consolidation adjustments and other schedules required for financial reporting.
• Liaise with subsidiaries’ finance teams to obtain reporting packages and supporting information and ensure timely submission for Group consolidation.
• Ensure financial reporting is prepared in compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
• Support the preparation of SGX announcements, interim financial statements, annual reports and other statutory reporting requirements, where applicable.
• Coordinate external audit activities relating to Group reporting, including preparing audit schedules, addressing audit queries and ensuring timely completion of the audit process.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and assess their impact on the Group, providing practical accounting guidance where required.
• Drive continuous improvements in financial reporting processes, internal controls and reporting systems to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Support finance-related projects, including system implementation, reporting enhancements and finance transformation initiatives.
• Prepare financial analysis, Board papers and management reports to support senior management's decision-making.
• Perform other ad hoc duties and projects assigned by Management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Group Financial Reporting, Consolidation or External Audit, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation and statutory financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in preparing SGX financial announcements and annual reports would be an advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
• Experience in a listed company or Big 4 audit firm will be an advantage.
• Experience in the manufacturing, commodities business would be a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (This role requires to communicate with China stakeholders)
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
