Job summary

ComfortDelGro Corporation is seeking a senior financial reporting professional to oversee group consolidation, prepare SGX announcements, and coordinate annual report disclosures. This role requires deep knowledge of SFRS(I), SGX Listing Manual and Companies Act, with experience in listed environments.

You will liaise with overseas subsidiaries, prepare monthly management reports, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding the team through system migrations and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy and/or professional qualification.
• Proven experience in a listed company and/or Big4 is advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge in SFRS(I), SGX Listing Manual and Companies Act.

Responsibilities

• Prepare half-year and full-year SGX announcements and annual report disclosures.
• Coordinate with overseas subsidiaries for financial reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports to the board.
• Review consolidated journal entries and inter-company eliminations.
• Engage with external auditors on audit and accounting issues.
• Support changes in reporting requirements and migration of new systems.

• Engageandliaisewithexternalauditorsonauditandaccountingissues

• Ensurethattheimpactofchangesongroupaccountingpoliciesandproceduresareinlinewiththechangesinbusinessrequirementsandrelevantfinancialreportingstandards
• Provideguidanceandsupporttooverseasteamtoensuretimelysubmissionofmonthlyaccounts
• EnsurethatallentitiesincludingoverseassubsidiariescomplywiththeGroupaccountingpolicies
• Supporttheteamformigrationandimplementationofnewsystem-relatedprojects
• Undertakeanyotherdutiesasassignedbymanagement

Requirements:

• Degreeinaccountancyand/orotherprofessionalqualificationequivalent
• 10 to 15yearsofrelevantworkingexperienceandpreferablywithauditexperience.
• Previousexperienceinlistedcompanyand/orbig4firmisadvantageous
• StrongtechnicalknowledgeinSFRS(I),SGXListingManualandCompaniesActispreferred
• Excellentteamplayerwithstrongcommunication,peoplemanagementandorganisationskills
