Job summary

Public Service Division seeks a qualified Facilities professional to manage ad-hoc and cyclical maintenance, and to formulate management and inspection programmes for NParks facilities, assets, and infrastructures.

You will coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities on upgrading projects, including budgeting and scheduling, while driving Smart FM initiatives using AI and Power BI to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degrees or equivalent in Engineering, Construction/Building Management, or Facilities Management.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in FM or related fields.
• Familiar with Codes of Practice, regulatory requirements and building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead coordination with multi-discipline consultants, contractors and authorities on design and construction projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
• Drive Smart Facilities Management initiatives using AI and data analytics to improve operations and maintenance outcomes.
• Develop and oversee maintenance and inspection programmes for buildings, parks, and assets.

Job description

What the role is

You will be a member of the Facilities team to manage the ad-hoc and cyclical maintenance programme and formulate the management plans and inspection programme of building and park facilities, infrastructures and other physical assets, including slope stabilisation and coastal erosion protection works within NParks.

What you will be working on

Your job involves managing and coordinating with multi-discipline consultants, contractors, various authorities and key stakeholders in the design requirements and implementation of upgrading and construction projects including budgeting and scheduling.

You will also play an active role in driving the adoption of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM) initiatives, leveraging AI tools and data analytics to enhance operational efficiency and maintenance outcomes.

What we are looking for

• Areas of study in Engineering, Construction/ Building Management, Facilities Management or other equivalent qualifications
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience
• Conversant with current Codes of Practice, requirements of regulatory authorities and building regulations
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, management and organization skills
• Able to work in team environment
• Adaptable and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in data analytic tools such as Power BI and experienced in the use of AI-driven application for facilities management
• Experience in the transformation and implementation of Smart Facilities Management (Smart FM) solutions
• Preferably with a professional qualification or its equivalent recognised by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore, or specialising in Civil & Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical disciplines.
