The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is seeking to advance its learning and development initiatives to equip SFA officers with the skills and competencies needed to support food safety and resilience.

Join our Career Development team to shape capabilities, design engaging curricula, and drive training excellence across the organisation, including managing vendor relationships and logistics to ensure valuable learning experiences for participants.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive competency frameworks defining excellence across SFA roles and clear career pathways.
• Create innovative training curricula transforming learning needs into engaging experiences (workshops, e-learning, blended programmes).
• Formulate training policies to ensure high-quality development opportunities aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage training operations from conception to completion, including vendor relations and logistics.

Be part of our Career Development team to develop, drive, promote and implement learning and development initiatives to equip SFA officers with the skills and competencies to support of SFA's mission of enhancing food security and resilience.

Shape Our People's Capabilities

Design comprehensive competency frameworks that define excellence across SFA roles and create clear pathways for career advancement. Through detailed job analysis and stakeholder engagement, you'll identify the critical skills our officers need to excel in their work.

Create Engaging Learning Experiences

Develop innovative training curricula that transform learning needs into impactful educational experiences. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to design diverse learning solutions including interactive workshops, e-learning modules, and blended programmes that engage our workforce.

Drive Training Excellence

Formulate training policies that set the standard for learning excellence across SFA. The training policies will establish clear guidelines ensuring consistent, high-quality development opportunities that support both individual growth and organisational objectives.

Manage Training Operations

Take ownership of our training ecosystem from conception to completion. You will plan and coordinate programmes, manage vendor relationships, oversee logistics, and ensure every learning experience delivers value to participants and the organisation.

About Singapore Food Agency

The Singapore Food Agency (SFA) is a new Statutory Board formed under the ‘Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) to oversee food safety and security. The SFA will serve as the single point of contact for public feedback on food-related issues, and strengthen management of foodborne disease outbreaks to protect public health.The SFA will also facilitate more business-friendly regulations with oversight of all food safety policies and consolidation of food laboratory capabilities to deepen competencies in food diagnostics, and research and development in food safety.
