Job summary

APSN is seeking a dedicated Alumni Engagement professional to lead outreach initiatives, connect graduates with APSN programmes, and coordinate engaging events with partners and staff. You will build and maintain relationships with professionals, employers, and volunteers to create training and employment opportunities for alumni.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Degree in any discipline; a qualification in Counselling or a related field would be preferred.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, community services, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with partners, volunteers, employers, allied professionals, and other external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others, proactive, resourceful, creative, and able to take initiative.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with good organisational, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage outreach initiatives to engage APSN alumni and connect them to relevant APSN programmes, services, and Centre enrolment opportunities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events and activities with partners, ensuring that objectives and desired outcomes are achieved.
  • Develop and manage relationships with professional partners, allied professionals, job coaches, employers, and volunteers to create training, employment, and engagement opportunities for alumni.
  • Coordinate alumni support and case management with Allied Professionals and Job Coaches, including facilitating training, job placement, and the Financial Assistance Scheme.
  • Coordinate the marketing, branding, and communications of alumni events and activities with the HQ Corporate Planning (CP) Team to enhance outreach and participation.
  • Manage programme budgets and resources effectively, monitor expenditure, and ensure the successful implementation, reporting, and continuous improvement of alumni programmes and activities.

Education

Bachelor's degree
Counselling qualification preferred

Job Requirements:
  • Degree in any discipline, a qualification in Counselling or a related field would be preferred.
  • Experience in alumni engagement, community services, programme/event management, stakeholder engagement, or a related field. Experience in the Special Educational Needs sector would be an advantage.
