Job summary

Day One Pte. Ltd. seeks to develop staff through rotation across restaurant roles to gain in-depth knowledge of the company’s food/beverage operations.

You will aim to maximise outlet sales and profitability while progressively mastering restaurant management and operations. Responsibilities include staffing, administration, performance management, inventory control, training progress, policy compliance, safety and cleanliness, and ad-hoc reporting.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be passionate about service.
• Excellent and positive service attitude required.
• Highly motivated, independent and able to multi-task.
• Able to work shifts, on weekends and public holidays.
• Positive attitude and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Gain deep knowledge of the company’s food or beverage operation by rotating on each position.
• Maximise sales and profitability of outlets.
• Master skills to run restaurant operations.
• Handle manpower scheduling, admin tasks, performance management and inventory control as needed.
• Ensure new employees are trained properly and monitor training progress.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and NEA regulations.
• Uphold safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Prepare business reports and perform ad-hoc duties.
• Monitor individual performance with supervisors and management.
• Set new goals with management after basic training for progression.

Job description

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

• Gain deep and thorough knowledge of the company’s food or beverage operation by rotating on each position
• Maximizing sales and profitability of outlets
• Progressively master the skills to run restaurant operations.
• Responsible for manpower scheduling, administrative matters, performance management and inventory control where necessary
• Ensure new employees are trained properly
• Follow up on the training progress of employees
• Ensure compliance in all areas, Company policies and procedures
• Uphold safety, hygiene and cleanliness as required by NEA regulations and company requirements
• Preparing of business reports and other ad-hoc duties
• Consistently monitor individual performance and progression with your superior and management
• Upon completion of all basic training, set new goals and objectives with the management for your progression in the company
