Job summary

Ascendas Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Marketing lead for our shopping mall to conceive and drive advertising and promotional activities that elevate the shopper experience and KPIs. You will build partnerships, engage tenants, and manage budgets, campaigns, and online strategies.

The role requires strong communications, retail marketing experience, and the ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in retail / hospitality industry
• Creative, dynamic, and resourceful with good media and relevant promotional partners’ contacts
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Fast and independent with strong organizational skills
• Meticulous, self-motivated, able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Results-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Prepared to work long and irregular hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, plan, implement, and manage overall advertising and promotional activities for the shopping mall to achieve KPIs and unified shopping cluster experience.
• Form strategic partnerships to source sponsorships, opportunities to host unique events or identify publicity opportunities for the mall.
• Proactively engage tenants to market their products and enhance their sales and shoppers’ experience.
• Plan the department’s budget to ensure that expenses are kept within the approved budget.
• Conduct post-promotional campaign or event reviews and prepare monthly reports for internal analysis.
• Develop exciting online marketing strategies to actively engage online communities.
• Analyse competitors, market trends, and identify opportunities to drive footfall.
• Oversee the marketing of advertising spaces to maximize mall’s revenue.
• Manage Digital Service Advocates to ensure smooth execution of the day-to-day operations.
• Maintain customer service initiatives and achieve service standards set for the mall.
• Be actively involved in supporting group campaigns and initiatives.
• The Company may assign duties in addition to those listed/described above and/or vary the scope of work according to business requirements.
