Job summary

BOTX INNOVATION SG PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician to monitor daily assembly lines, perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, and ensure timely cleaning, lubrication, and alignment to sustain high equipment availability.

You will diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults on customized automation lines, log downtime and spare parts, and follow strict LOTO safety practices during line clearing.

Qualifications

• Minimum education as stated: NITEC to Diploma in related engineering.
• Strong mechanical and electrical background with ability to read technical drawings.
• Exceptional logical thinking and step-by-step reasoning for diagnosing anomalies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily assembly line operations to identify potential issues and prevent unplanned line stoppages.
• Perform routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) schedules daily or monthly.
• Execute daily machinery cleaning, lubrication, and alignment checks to maintain operational quality.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults on customized automation lines.
• Log downtime, root-cause analyses, and spare parts usage into the maintenance logbook/system.
• Comply with safety guidelines including Lockout/Tagout procedures during line clearing and cleaning.

• Uptime Focus: Monitor daily assembly line operations to identify potential issues early, preventing unplanned line stoppages.
• Checklist Execution: Perform routine Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) schedules daily or monthly.
• Daily Maintenance & Cleaning: Execute daily machinery cleaning, lubrication, alignment checks, and basic parameter adjustments to maintain operational quality.
• Customized Machine Troubleshooting: Structural troubleshooting steps to diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical faults on non-standard, customized automation lines.
• Reporting: Promptly log all equipment downtime, root-cause analyses, and spare parts utilization into the maintenance tracking logbook/system.
• Safety Standards: Comply with manufacturing safety guidelines, including strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols during line clearing and cleaning.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical Skillset: Strong combined mechanical and electrical background with an ability to read all technical drawings.
• Core Competency: Exceptional logical thinking and step-by-step reasoning for diagnosing complex equipment anomalies.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of factory maintenance experience. Prior experience handling customized or non-standard automated machinery is highly preferred.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work designated shift patterns as assigned by production if needed.
