Job summary

RIGHT RECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Automation/Technical Specialist to maintain and repair factory automation and peripherals, enabling minimal downtime.

You will support equipment and process improvements, validation, and preventive maintenance, and train production technicians on basic operation and troubleshooting. This permanent full-time role offers a 12-hour shift pattern, day hours from 7am to 7pm, attendance and shift allowances, OT pay, AWS, medical and dental benefits, and

Qualifications

• Maintenance and repair of automation or peripheral equipment in the factory to reduce downtime.
• Data collection and monitoring of equipment for performance improvements.
• Participation in Continual Process Improvement and training of production technicians.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for equipment maintenance for plant automation and control systems.
• Adhere to SOPs and preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor and collect data from equipment for performance improvement.
• Participate in quality meetings on equipment issues.
• Update maintenance reports and spare parts usage records.
• Work with production technicians and provide guidance when necessary.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Our client (MNC)is a global advanced precision engineering & manufacturing company for Medical devices and Automotive industries.

Summary

• Maintenance and repair of all automation or peripheral equipment in the factory to reduce downtime.
• Support equipment and process improvement projects, validation execution, preventive maintenance execution, periodically verification.
• Provide training to production technician on basic operation, troubleshooting.
• Meet quality objective, good GMP set by line manager and management.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the equipment maintenance for the entire plant automation and control systems to minimize disruption to production.
• Adhere to the standard operating procedures, preventive maintenance as per maintenance program for the automation and other peripheral systems.
• Monitor and collect data from equipment for performance improvement.
• Participate in quality meeting on equipment and machine related issues.
• To update maintenance report form, spare part usage record and tracking.
• Participate in the Continual Process Improvement Team.
• To work with production technician and provide guidance when necessary.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed by the Company or manager/supervisor

Requirements

• NTC/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial/Plastic technology or equivalent qualification
• 1-3 years relevant working experience in Factory Automation, Machine repairs and maintenance
• Good team player with positive working attitude
