Job summary

Recruit Express will hire Maintenance Technicians to support the manufacturing operations of a leading medical device company in Changi, Singapore. You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment and help minimise downtime.

Candidates should have a Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing, with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. Opportunity for conversion to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Able to read and understand technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Carry out equipment troubleshooting and repair to minimise production downtime.
• Diagnose equipment faults and identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Support equipment installation, modification, calibration and maintenance activities where required.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and smooth manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns and repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality and manufacturing requirements.
• Support the transition towards 24/7 manufacturing operations and other ad-hoc maintenance activities as required.

Learn and support manufacturing operations involving diagnostic devices, cardiac monitoring devices, pacemakers and cardiac leads , with opportunities for conversion to a permanent position ~

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Carry out equipment troubleshooting, repair and corrective maintenance to minimise production downtime.
• Diagnose equipment faults and identify root causes of equipment failures.
