Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support the manufacturing operations of a leading medical device company in Changi.

You will learn and support manufacturing operations involving diagnostic devices, cardiac monitoring devices, pacemakers and cardiac leads, with opportunities for conversion to a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics or related field.
• 2+ years hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot, repair and perform corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Diagnose faults and determine root causes of failures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Support equipment installation, calibration and maintenance.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdowns and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and manufacturing requirements.
• Support transition toward 24/7 manufacturing and other ad-hoc maintenance tasks.

We are urgently hiring Maintenance Technicians to support the manufacturing operations of a leading medical device company in Changi, Singapore!

Learn and support manufacturing operations involving diagnostic devices, cardiac monitoring devices, pacemakers and cardiac leads, with opportunities for conversion to a permanent position ~

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.

• Carry out equipment troubleshooting, repair and corrective maintenance to minimise production downtime.

• Diagnose equipment faults and identify root causes of equipment failures.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and equipment manuals.

• Support equipment installation, modification, calibration and maintenance activities where required.

• Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure equipment reliability and smooth manufacturing operations.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns and repairs.

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, quality and manufacturing requirements.

• Support the transition towards 24/7 manufacturing operations and other ad-hoc maintenance activities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or a related technical field.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience in preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and repair.

• Able to read and understand technical drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
