Job summary

Primech A&P Pte. Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance and repair of commercial cleaning equipment at Changi Airport.

The role involves hands-on service, troubleshooting, and collaboration with OEMs and vendors to keep equipment in safe, reliable operation. You will support robotic cleaning machines, manage maintenance schedules, and ensure accurate records of service history while controlling spare parts usage and costs.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in equipment maintenance, field service, or robotics support.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Capable of safely handling heavy equipment.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Familiarity with cleaning machinery is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of robotic cleaning machines, including mapping cleaning routes.
• Coordinate with operations team on equipment availability, repair needs and maintenance schedule.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams on equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure all equipment meets safety and operational standards.
• Monitor and control inventory, spare parts usage and maintenance costs.
• Maintain an accurate machinery asset register and service history.
