Job summary

Flintex Consulting in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair cleaning equipment and to inspect and assess their functionality. You will perform routine maintenance and safety checks, and prepare maintenance reports for internal staff and external vendors.

The role requires hands-on problem solving, basic computer skills for record keeping, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Engineering or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment preferred.
• Able to troubleshoot equipment faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Basic computer skills for report preparation and record keeping.
• Responsible, hands-on, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing cleaning equipment including high pressure jet, leaf blower, scrubbing machine, vacuum cleaner, battery operated cart etc
• Inspecting and assessing the functionality of cleaning machines
• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks
• Preparation and submission of maintenance reports
• Liaise with external vendors for necessary equipment repair
• Inspect and monitor quality standards of cleaning chemical, equipment / tools
• Perform asset tagging to ensure accountability of equipment
• Prepare inspection finding reports and communicate with internal staff / vendors on any faults, and follow up to ensure rectification
