Job summary

BAKERY LABORATORY PTE LTD in Tuas, Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair food processing machinery, refrigeration systems, and related equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and support installation and commissioning of new machines, while keeping accurate service records and ensuring safety and hygiene standards.

The role is full-time, on-site in Tuas with Monday to Friday 8:30 AM–5:30 PM and Saturday 8:30 AM–12:30

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in food machinery, refrigeration, or industrial equipment maintenance.
• Education: NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma (ITE or Polytechnic, Singapore).
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of food processing machines and production equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Electrical and mechanical repair works.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines or systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM


• Saturday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

About the Role

• Perform electrical and mechanical repair works.


• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machines or systems.

• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and operational standards in the production area.
