Job summary

HEN TICK FOODS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a maintenance technician to support refrigeration, electrical and facility systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, monitor temperatures in cold rooms, and troubleshoot critical equipment to ensure smooth operation.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Refrigeration with at least 2 years hands-on experience in related fields, and is willing to work a 5.5-day week with standby duties.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Refrigeration.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in refrigeration systems, cold rooms, electrical, or air-conditioning.
• Experience with blaze, compressor, evaporator and condenser systems is preferred.
• 5.5-day work week and standby duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance, parts replacement and repair of refrigeration, production, store and facility equipment.
• Perform daily temperature recordings and monitor cold room temperatures.
• Perform preventive maintenance of facility equipment (cooling tower, evaporative condenser, air conditioning, refrigeration).
• Handle maintenance of reach trucks, forklifts and production machines.
• Perform basic electrical repairs and replacement of fixtures and lighting.
• Assist in maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems and services.
• Troubleshoot security systems (barriers, gates and alarms) and power-related issues in freezers.
• Assist container parking and monitor container temperatures.
• Carry out pallet racking repair and carpentry/welding/painting work.
• General landscaping and horticulture maintenance tasks.
