Job summary

APPLIED MICRO TECH PTE LTD in Singapore is looking for an individual to assist in production tasks and maintain mechanical systems. Responsibilities include daily operational support, preventive maintenance, and ensuring product quality. Ideal candidates will have a NITEC in Engineering and good teamwork skills.

On-the-job training will be provided, and the role involves handling materials weighing up to 15 kg while following safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Meticulous, organized, and attentive to detail.

Production:

• Assist engineers withdaily operational tasks in the factory.
• Provide support for manufacturing processes when required.
• Ensure products are manufactured according to schedule andmeet customer quality requirements.
• Comply with company standards,safety regulations, and safe work practices.
• Train and guide new employees when required.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Maintenance:

• Performpreventive maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, with a focus on air-conditioners and cooling equipment.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory in proper storage and good condition.
• Supportmaintenance and manufacturing activities to ensure smooth production.

Requirements:

• MinimumNITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineeringor equivalent qualification.
• Positive attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
• Meticulous, organised and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willing to learn and adapt.
• Prior experience in maintenance and repair of air-conditioning and/or cooling systems; or
• Prior experience in theSemiconductor Wafer Fabrication industryis an advantage.
