Job summary

CBRE Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Maintenance Shift Lead to oversee preventative and reactive repairs within a large building operation. You will coordinate daily activities, mentor staff, and ensure safety and compliant procedures.

Key responsibilities include leading maintenance teams, coordinating with contractors, monitoring building systems (fire safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical), and communicating with tenants and vendors. Strong technical and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Higher qualification required.
• Technical training with apprenticeship considered; licences preferred where required.
• Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching and retention preferred.
• Ability to convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must meet physical requirements.
• Understand procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
• Ability to analyze solutions using technical judgment.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Advanced math skills for percentages, fractions and financial calculations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage team's daily activities; establish schedules and track deadlines.
• Mentor and coach staff; cross-train and monitor performance.
• Improve preventive maintenance programs continuously.
• Maintain and update building maintenance and safety manuals.
• Coordinate with contractors, tenants, and vendors.
• Oversee fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Communicate with tenants, clients, owners, facility team and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Lead by example aligned with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.
