Job summary

dnata Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for automotive and airport ground support equipment in Singapore.

You will coordinate work streams, ensure safety compliance, and engage with OEMs for technical support and parts The role requires 5+ years in a supervisory capacity, strong PLC and root-cause analysis skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Experience with electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems for maintenance of automatic/semi-automatic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality service level with rapid response to minimize downtime as part of maintenance planning and control.
• Plan and delegate daily Preventive Maintenance / Corrective Maintenance work to supervisor/work teams.
• Plan advance preventive or corrective maintenance to minimize downtime. Recommend and approve spare parts ordering.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are enforced during work.
• Ensure recovery tools and equipment are in ready condition.
• Maintain workshop facilities and housekeeping in good condition.
• Engage with OEM and suppliers for technical support or quotations for repairs.
• Conduct root cause analysis on critical equipment breakdowns and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare Critical Problem Reports for equipment breakdowns on flights.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, security, and health policies.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor or department head.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan advance preventive maintenance or corrective maintenance work to minimise equipment downtimeDo recommendation and approval for all ordering spare parts for all equipment

• Ensures safety policies, practices, administration are enforced and complied during work

• Ensures all recovery tools and equipment in operational readiness etc.

• Ensures all workshop facilities and housekeeping are in good working condition

• Engaging communication with OEM and suppliers for technical support or quotation for additional repairs

• Conduct root cause analysis on critical equipment breakdowns and provide recommendation for the preventive of recurrence of the breakdowns

• Prepare Critical Problem Report for all equipment breakdown on flight

• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedures

• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Requirements

• Minimum Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automotive Engineering from a recognized tertiary institution

• Preferably with additional training and / or work experience in electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and processes which are necessary for the competent maintenance of automatic and/or semi-automatic equipment

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant discipline prefers from automotive or airport ground support equipment industry

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience

• Must possess strong skills in project management and workshop service centre operations

• Must possess strong skills in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Root Cause Analysis

• Must possess minimum LTA Class 3 driving license and above

• Must possess Microsoft Office, SAP and report writing skills.
