Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a heavy manufacturing environment in Singapore. The role focuses on maintaining and troubleshooting plant machinery, leading technicians, and coordinating preventive maintenance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechatronics engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience, and have hands-on automation experience, IPCs, and PLCs. Salary ranges SGD 3,200–4,500 monthly based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and corrective maintenance to minimize production downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Lead and supervise a team of technicians in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of plant machinery and equipment.
• Develop, plan, and schedule maintenance activities to support safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory effectively to ensure the availability of critical components and prevent operational delays.
• Coordinate and liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for technical support, spare parts procurement, and maintenance services.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, maintenance procedures, and company policies.

Job description

• Location:Jalan Boon Lay
• Working Days: 5. 5 days A Week (44 hrs/week)
• Working hours : 8am – 5pm (Mon-Fri) and 8am – 12pm (Sat)
• Salary :$3,200 - $4,500 (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in automation systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment.
• Experience in the steel manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IPCs, PLC programming, drive control systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Possession of a valid driving license is preferred.
