Job summary

Accion Labs in Singapore is seeking a Mainframe Application Developer/Support Analyst on a contract basis. You will analyze requirements, design efficient systems, develop COBOL (or CICS-COBOL) programs, and perform testing.

The role involves production support, UAT, documentation, and independent time management, with 3+ years of relevant experience and a diploma/degree in CS or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mainframe card link 1 and 2, vision plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and determine program requirements
• Perform research to design effective system
• Develop COBOL (or CICS-COBOL) programs according to functional & technical specifications
• Perform unit and system integration testing
• Support user acceptance testing
• Production system support
• Write program specifications and documentation
• Able to work independently
• Manages own time effectively while handling multiple tasks
