Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• About 5 years of COBOL development experience.
• Proficiency in Micro Focus COBOL, C, Pro*C, Shell scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, GitLab, and Oracle.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Maven.
• General knowledge or background in Banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to integrate hardware and software systems, participate in technical discussions, and propose solutions aligned with industry best practices.
• Contribute to technical design, liaise with business analysts, and ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Draft technical specifications, conduct peer reviews, create unit tests, and prepare system integration documents throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain software quality, update and enhance existing capabilities, and oversee software testing and validation procedures.
• Provide Level 3 support for production applications, analyzing and resolving issues as they arise.
