Job summary

SMART FORTE CONSULTING LLP is seeking an experienced machinist in Singapore to set up and operate lathe machines, complete machining tasks, and ensure part quality. The role requires maintaining housekeeping, safety, and performing TPM activities such as cleaning and lubrication.

The candidate should be near Gul Circle MRT and have Turnmill or 5-axis milling experience. Daily work will be assigned by the Machine shop Supervisor, with emphasis on meeting the manufacturing schedule and proper

Qualifications

• Turnmill or 5-axis milling experience required.
• Work location near Gul Circle MRT.
• Salary up to SGD 3000 per month.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Machine shop Supervisor / Leader for daily work assignment.
• To achieve the manufacturing schedule, according to job assigned.
• Setup and operate lathe machine, complete machining task assigned
• Responsible for quality of the parts produced.
• Perform self-inspection on finished work-piece.
• Prepare / arrange raw material, tooling and fixture for next machining process and programs for set-up.
• Maintain good housekeeping, safety and general machine maintenance.
• Perform Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) activities such as minor maintenance that includes cleaning, inspection, lubrication etc.
