Job summary

IL Network Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled Machinist/Mechanical Technician to operate conventional lathe, milling, drilling and grinding machines in Singapore. You will read engineering drawings, perform machining and repair parts as needed, and set up tools for production while maintaining a safe workshop.

Ideal candidates have precision engineering certification and shipyard experience, with the ability to work independently and meet tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• Precision engineering certification required.
• Relevant experience as a machinist or mechanical technician.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Marine or shipyard experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional lathe, milling, drilling and grinding machines.
• Read and understand engineering drawings.
• Perform machining, repair and modification of machinery parts.
• Set up machines and select suitable cutting tools.
• Check finished parts to ensure they meet required measurements.
• Maintain machines and keep the workshop clean and safe.
• Follow safety procedures and complete work on time.
