Job summary

GE Aerospace Singapore is seeking a Machinist to set up and operate CNC and conventional machines, including EDM, laser, lathe and milling. You will follow drawings and procedures to produce precision parts and fixtures, maintaining records and ensuring clean, safe work practices. The role requires reading English operation sheets and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' level with 3 years of relevant experience in machining.
• Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or equivalent; or Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Able to read and understand manufacturing operation sheets and standard operating procedures in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines (EDM, laser, lathe, grinders, milling, drilling).
• Follow engineering drawings and instructions to produce jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges and product parts.
• Maintain records and perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Work with a team to complete machining operations and rework as needed.
