Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, reading basic G code from engineering drawings. You will inspect parts, troubleshoot CNC tooling and programs, and collaborate with engineering and production to integrate machining into the overall workflow.

The role requires basic education, good mechanical aptitude, and fluent English. Rotating shifts are required, with relocation assistance not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary level education.
• NTC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to machine parts to specifications from engineering drawings.
• Perform inspections and measurements to ensure quality and specifications are met.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to CNC operations, tooling, and programs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate CNC machining processes into production workflow.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and employee’s EHS responsibilities.
• Experience operating Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) and/or other large CNC machining equipment is highly desirable
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.
