Job summary

NUTEK PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a skilled technician in Singapore to operate CNC Milling and Turning machines. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Nitec/Nitec qualification and a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with CNC processes. Responsibilities include preparing materials, operating machines, checking dimensions, and maintaining workplace safety standards. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of machining processes and interpretation of technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec/Nitec with relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience for those without Higher Nitec/Nitec.
• Adhere to Environment Health and Safety requirements at the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material and tools as stated in the set-up sheet.
• Set up and operate the CNC Milling and Turning machine.
• Check critical features and dimensions.
• Report on a blunt or broken tool.
• Report on material requirements for production at a low level.
• Perform proper maintenance procedures, keeping the machine/tools and workplace clean.

Skills

Knowledge of CNC lathe and machining process

Knowledge in interpreting drawing
