Job summary

RecruitFirst in Singapore's One North area is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform trouble shooting and preventive maintenance on card embedding machines. You will work to reduce downtime and improve MTBF/MTTR, support breakdowns and setup conversions, and keep daily downtime reports up to date.

The role requires a Min Nitec in Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics and at least 1 year of prior experience. Shift rotations apply and you will be part of a collaborative manufacturing team.

Qualifications

• Min Nitec in Mechanical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 1 year of prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on card embedding machines.
• Reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability (MTBF/MTTR).
• Support breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist equipment setup conversions when needed.
• Record downtime and write daily equipment reports.
• Pursue continuous improvement for reliability and productivity.
• Interact with production and other departments to resolve issues.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Salary:$1,800 - $2,300 basic + AWS + $12 per shift (day) / $26 per shift (night)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the machine trouble shooting and preventive maintenance on Card embedding machine

• Reduce equipment downtime and aim for high consistency equipment performance. Increase MTBF and Reduce MTTR

• Support equipment breakdown and preventive maintenance

• Support equipment setup conversion as when needed

• Keep track of equipment downtime and write daily equipment report

• Carry out continuous improvement on equipment to achieve highest reliability and productivity

• Real-time interaction with production and other departments to settle issues and gather feedback for improvements

• Any other special projects as specified, as and when
