Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a maintenance technician to support the card-embedding machines in a production environment. You will troubleshoot faults, perform preventive maintenance and work with production teams to improve machine performance and uptime.

The role uses a 4/3/3/4 roster with day and night shifts and shift allowances. A permanent position is offered to candidates with a minimum NITEC in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering and at least one year of prior work experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 1 year of prior work experience.
• Able to work the stated shift hours and roster.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve machine faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on card-embedding machines.
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime and repair time.
• Support machine setup and changeovers when required.
• Monitor equipment downtime and prepare daily equipment reports.
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment performance and productivity.
• Work closely with production and other departments to resolve issues and gather feedback.
• Support assigned projects and comply with quality, health, safety, environmental and security requirements.

About the Role

Support the maintenance and reliability of card-embedding machines in a production environment. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance and work with production teams to improve machine performance.

Working Schedule

4/3/3/4 roster: Work 4 days, rest 3 days, work 3 days, rest 4 days.

Available shifts:

• Day: 7.15am–7.30pm | $12 allowance per shift | 2 vacancies
• Night: 7.15pm–7.30am | $26 allowance per shift | 2 vacancies

Key Responsibilities
