Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Singapore to perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on card embedding machines. The role supports downtime recovery, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement across production lines.

You will work 12-hour rotating day or night shifts on a 4/3/3/4 pattern, with a convenient location near One-North MRT and basic AWS plus shift allowances. Minimum Nitec and 1 year experience required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec in Mechanical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting or engineering support.
• Basic knowledge of machinery troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating day or night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on card embedding machines to ensure smooth equipment operations.
• Support equipment breakdown recovery and minimise machine downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to maintain equipment reliability and performance.
• Assist with equipment setup and conversion whenever required.
• Monitor and record equipment downtime, including preparing daily equipment reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, productivity and efficiency.
• Work closely with production and other departments to troubleshoot operational issues and gather feedback for improvements.
• Participate in special projects and other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Comply with the company's quality, health, safety, environmental and security requirements.
