Job summary

Jointhire Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for its client in Singapore. The role involves interpreting technical drawings, performing machining per specifications, and setting up parts for production.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC Heidenhain controllers, reads drawings accurately, and can guide operators. You will troubleshoot dimensional issues and participate in failure analysis while taking on related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting technical drawings and machining processes to produce parts.
• Ability to read and interpret G-code and M-code for simple programs.
• Able to guide operators and provide basic instructions on machine operation.
• Must troubleshoot dimensional non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.
• Participate in failure analysis and suggest corrective/preventive actions as needed.
• Willing to perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and perform machining to required specifications.
• Operate, set up parts and produce parts as per drawing specifications.
• Guide and instruct machinists on machine operation at a basic level.
• Troubleshoot dimensional non-conformance and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to failure analysis and propose corrective measures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description:

• To interpret technical drawing and perform machining process and requirement to produce the work piece


• Perform simple machine code programming with G code / M code


• To operate, set up parts and produce parts as per drawing specification


• Guiding and providing operator/machinist with basic instruction in operating the machines


• To be responsible of all production mechanical related product matter and troubleshoot on dimensions non-conformance and provide corrective actions and remedy


• Participate in failure analysis, recommend appropriate correctively/preventive technical action (if any)


• To perform other similar or related duties as directed by superior from time to time

Job Requirements:

• Experience in CNC Heidenhain controller is mandatory


• Diploma in Precision Machining, ITE or related discipline


• Min 3 years in relevant experience in related field


• Able to interpret technical drawings and with machining knowledge

Compensation:

• Working location: Buroh


• Working hours: Monday to Friday (08:30 – 17:30), and Saturday (08:30 – 12:30)
