Job summary

TEMPERATURE SENSORS SERVICES PTE LTD seeks a CNC operator for a full-time permanent role in Singapore, located at Ubi/Eunos. The candidate will plan machining, load stock, verify settings, maintain safety, and document production activity. Requires 2 years of CNC experience, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with CAD/CAM tools.

Working hours are 8.30am–5.30pm on weekdays with Saturday half-day. Salary starts from SGD 2,000 plus performance bonus, with medical and dental benefits included.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant CNC operator experience in related industries.
• Proven experience as CNC operator.
• Skilled in operating CNC machinery and tooling and precision measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and documents.
• Basic computer literacy including CAD/CAM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specs, GD&T interpretations.
• Loads stock into position for machining.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and samples to standard.
• Maintains safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Documents actions by updating production and quality logs.

Responsibilities

• Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
• Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.

Requirements

• 2 years relevant working experience in related industries
• Proven experience as CNC operator
• Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
• Computer savvy with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
• Good communication abilities
