Job summary

TWG Tea in Singapore seeks a dedicated Machine Operator to operate and monitor production machinery, performing basic troubleshooting and reporting faults to the supervisor. You will help maintain safety, efficiency, and clean handling of equipment to support daily manufacturing goals.

On the logistics side you will assist in measuring, packaging, labeling and goods receipt/storage, while upholding HACCP/SFA requirements where applicable. The role offers a 5.5-day week and welfare benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level.
• Preferably possess a basic certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Knowledge or experience in operating production machinery.
• Basic knowledge of machinery troubleshooting.
• Experience in HACCP/SFA requirements would be advantageous.
• Prior experience working in a food processing factory would be a plus.
• Hardworking and responsible.
• Able to lift heavy loads up to 15kg.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to learn.
• 5.5-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic troubleshooting of machinery when required.

• Ensure production machinery is operated safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of production equipment.
• Report any machinery faults or technical issues to the supervisor.

• To label and ensure labels are correctly affixed
• To ensure workplace health, hygiene and safety requirements are met
• To ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely packing and dispatch of goods
• To assist in the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organise special requirements for certain stock, such as fragile products
• To assist in other warehousing and/or logistic activities when necessary
